As well as being a great cook, Delia sometimes does translation work. She is a native Romanian speaker, but has lived in the UK for the last five years and speaks English better than some of the indigenous population.
Delia has a degree in Romanian and English language and literature from Iasi [1] University. She works part time as a qualified assistant in an ESOL class, teaching English to non-native speakers.
From time to time she does some work as a freelance translator. She is able to do Romanian to English and English to Romanian translations quickly, to a professional standard and at a reasonable rate.
